Well this week, auctions speak louder than words as Josh stole Shaun’s opening monologue. This week guests were Glynn Nicholas for the Baby Boomers, Claudia Karvan for Generation X and Rai Thistlethwayte (from Thirsty Merc) for Gen Y.
The first game was Accessory Before The Fact, with Shaun remarking on the similarity of Angela Lansbury to Josh Thomas. Next, Bride of the Fly, where the groom in each photo had been replaced with a fly. The kettle was pulled out again for a round of As Quick As.
The four button options were Kim (Kardashian), Pencils, Breakfast Cereals and Ears.
- Gen Y picked Ears – playing “Name That Tune”, all songs from musicals. Josh had a copy of Preincarnate on display, but it wasn’t mentioned.
- The BB went for Pencils, which was “Draw That Movie!” Glynn drew for Amanda and all the titles had numbers in them.
- Gen X chose Breakfast Cereals, with the game “What Am I Eating?”, during which Shaun ate a banana.
The Your Gen round topic was Weather. The end game envelope was delivered by Napoleon on a Segway – “Which Generation is Best at – Body Art?” A models had to be painted to suit a scene by each team – just a regular, every day activity! In the end, Gen X won with their Tarzan model, winning the 1934 Trophy for Best Novice Toy Dog, donated by Pepper in Gawler SA.
